 grade 1 listed building built in 1854 and the magnificent former home of the Rothschild family. We are eternally grateful to the owners to allow us to stage this show.
The most appropriate of backdrops for the launch of ACF's latest Arts, Crafts & Design Show. The 3 day event (Friday 20 to Sunday 22 August) turns the prestigious Mentmore Golf and Country Club near Leighton Buzzard into a veritable Aladdin's cave. On display will be the best that Britain can offer in the field of craftsmanship. The unique gifts shall include: hand-made Windsor chairs, impression paintings, fine bone china, pottery, aromatic soaps, dazzling jewellery, leather bags and coats, ladies & gents fashion clothing, bespoke soft furnishing................. the list goes on. There will also be a food marquee where specialist food producers show home grown, many organic, foods of distinction.
The aim of ACF is to promote the understanding and appreciation of artisan skills. Become inspired by the quality and originality of the work on display.
Each craftsman proudly displaying their wares with many demonstrating their individual skill. Enjoy the surroundings whilst being serenaded by our resident pianist and MC Mr. Michael Vaughan playing his easy listening style.
As at all of ACF's shows, there will be a delightful menu of homemade, healthy eating foods to tantilise your taste buds in the restaurant area. |
